Late summer flowers are here! The dahlias, lissianthus, cosmos & celosia are all thriving. The deep colours of some of those dahlias are fitting for September, though I’m still in deep denial it is here. So many flowers in the gardens yet! Summer is not slowing down anytime soon over here!

Y’all know how I grow a LOT of pastel colours! Would you do this girl a favour and let me know if you would like to see brighter colours added to the mix? These are Agavé zinnias from Johnny's Selected Seeds such are a bright pop of colour with very large cactus form blooms. I’m looking for other fun varieties but would love your input pretty please.

Taking moments to appreciate daily glimmers. A pair of hummingbirds in the yard, a sweet cat that has become my shadow, my Farmer that I get to enjoy this country living with, calls from the kids, visits with family & friends. Nothing crazy, just feeling grateful for all of it!

Just returned home from a few days of camping and I’m so happy to see the dahlias blooming! A friend popped in and I was so happy to pick her a bouquet including dahlias! There is room in each U Pick evening, looking forward to seeing you soon!

These are the days we dream about! Having fun with our favourite people, finding new ways to enjoy these short summer months. The U Pick garden is bursting and if this isn’t something you’ve enjoyed before, tag someone to join you for a new experience picking flowers together. The garden is like a retreat where you can take your time walking throughout the rows of blooms and pick whatever you love. I give a few tips & tricks if you like and you get to take your flowers home to enjoy. Everything is provided.
