I’m excited to be a part of Agriculture Safety Day at the Port Perry Fairgrounds on Saturday, May 30th from 9am–1pm alongside Durham Farm & Rural Family Resources 🌾

I’ll be helping demonstrate horse safety alongside our team of miniature horses, teaching children about safe, respectful interactions around horses as part of this fun and educational farm safety event. 🐴💛

🎉 Cheers to 10 years of Munchkins & Minis ~ What a journey! 🎉

10 years ago, I had no idea that a couple of miniature horses would completely change the direction of my life.

At that point, horses were already my world, something I had grown up with, built my career around, and pursued all the way to Grand Prix Dressage.

I grew up on a farm, where animals were simply part of everyday life. My mom had a pony when she was young, and that love naturally carried through to me. As I got older, I got my own pony, spent my days in the barn, and started competing at local fairs. Then at 12 years old, I discovered Dressage, and I knew that was what I was meant to do.

From Pony Club to the show ring, I fully immersed myself in that world. What started as a passion quickly became my career, training and competing dressage horses all the way up to Grand Prix.

Years later, while raising my two sons, I brought home our first two miniature horses, Pickles and Olive, simply for them.

What I didn’t expect was how much those little horses would change everything.

I watched my boys build confidence, form real connections, and find so much joy in something so simple. And I remember thinking… if this could have this kind of impact on my own children, why not share it with others?

That’s how Munchkins & Minis® began.

Over the years, two minis turned into a whole herd, and what started as something small grew into something I’m incredibly proud of. We’ve been part of so many birthdays, events, and special moments, always with the goal of creating experiences that feel safe, magical, and special for every family who visits us.

GRAND PRIX PONY RIDES ARE HERE 🐴✨

I’m so excited to offer this 🤍
For those who don’t know me, I’m Stephanie Jensen — a Grand Prix dressage rider, lifelong equestrian, and coach.

I was fortunate enough to grow up with horses, and what started as a love quickly became my career. I’ve been riding my entire life and coaching and training for over 30 years — working with horses at the highest level, and now bringing that same level of care and knowledge into these first experiences for children.

We get so many requests for pony rides, but it was incredibly important to me to create something that’s done right.

These are not your typical pony rides — they are safe, structured, experiences with well-trained, gentle horses, guided with professional expertise every step of the way.

Calm, confidence-building, and truly meaningful 🫶🏼
This is not a riding lesson, it’s a first time experience, the kind that shapes how a child feels about horses for life.
