🚨SIGNING ALERT🚨

The Port Perry LumberJacks are beyond excited to announce the commitment of our marquee addition for the 2026-27 season, Nate Taylor!

A veteran of over 150 OJHL games, Nate brings a tremendous amount of experience, passion, leadership, and high-end skill to the Green and Gold. His ability to play at a relentless pace while creating offense makes him one of the most dangerous players on the ice every time he hops over the boards.

“Nate is a big-time talent who leaves everything on the ice every shift,” said Director of Business & Hockey Operations Brad Bricknell. “He’s the type of player who elevates everyone around him. His compete level, hockey IQ, and drive to win are exactly what we’re looking for as we continue building toward something special.”

When we learned Nate was available, we knew we had to act. From our very first conversations, it was clear he was all in—betting on himself and committed to helping push this team to the next level.

Nate’s experience, work ethic, and determination will be a huge addition both on and off the ice as we continue our pursuit of a championship.

The Port Perry Lumberjacks are proud to announce the signing of defenceman Donovan Kennedy from the North Central Predators U18 AAA program.

Donovan brings a tremendous work ethic, a rugged defensive presence, and the grit and determination that embody Lumberjacks hockey. A reliable defender who competes hard in every situation, Donovan has proven he can shut down opponents, win battles, and make life difficult for the competition.

Having already suited up for the Lumberjacks as an affiliate player on multiple occasions last season, Donovan made an immediate impression on the coaching staff and management group with his maturity, physical play, and commitment to the defensive side of the game.

“We had Donovan with us for several games last season as an affiliate player, and he showed us exactly what he is capable of,” said GM Tom Parish. “His ability to close gaps quickly, use his body effectively, and separate players from the puck is something that can’t be taught. He competes every shift and brings the kind of toughness and character that helps teams win. We’re extremely excited to have Donovan joining us full-time.”

As he prepares for his first full PJHL season, the Lumberjacks believe Donovan has all the tools to become an important part of the Green and Gold’s success moving forward.

With his relentless compete level, physical edge, and team-first mentality, Donovan is poised to make a significant impact both on and off the ice.

The Port Perry Lumberjacks are extremely excited to welcome highly skilled forward Calenn Williams to the Green and Gold!

Calenn is no stranger to the PJHL, having played for the North Kawartha Knights as a 16-year- old where he recorded an impressive 33 points in 40 games.

His offensive instincts, elite hockey IQ, and ability to create opportunities all over the ice make him a tremendous addition to our lineup.

We believe “Willy” is ready to take his game to another level. His relentless mindset, work ethic, and ability to see plays develop before others allow him to outsmart and outplay the competition. Calenn has the talent to make an impact in every situation and will be a key piece as we continue our climb up the standings.

We can’t wait to see what he brings to the ice this season.
