Come Try Rowing Day is happening at the Durham Rowing Club on Saturday June 13, 2026!

This event is free to attend. Bring your family and friends out for a fun day of learning to row! No prior rowing experience is necessary and all equipment is provided.

There will be a session at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. To guarantee your spot, please register for one of the sessions here:

If you want to learn a new skill, meet new people, enjoy the outdoors and have some fun while doing it, then our Learn To Row Program is for you!

Learn To Row programs run Tuesdays and Thursdays each week over 3 weeks, for a total of 6 coached sessions.

Session #3 starts July 8, and session #4 starts July 29 🚣

For a 2nd year, the Durham Rowing Club is hosting a free Come Try Rowing event on Sunday June 8, 2025.

The try rowing sessions are open to persons of all abilities. No prior rowing experience is necessary and all equipment is provided!

Congrats Homam! The recognition is well deserved, and such a wonderful highlight on Adventure rowing side of our sport! Thank you for being such a wonderful member of our club and still calling us home for over 25 years!
