Congrats to our Scugog Lakers, who competed in the Toronto Women’s Dragon Boat Festival today!

🥉 in their 500m heat
🥇 in their 200m knockout (⭐️ 7 second improvement over last season!)
🥇 in their 2km race (⭐️ 9 second improvement over last season!)

And an overall 🥈 in their division.

Way to go Laker ladies!

On March 17th, our boat lost one of its shining stars. Goddard was a happy person, a kind friend, and an enthusiastic paddler.

We're honoured to pay tribute to Steph the only way we know how: by taking our feelings to Lake Scugog.

For anyone who knew Steph and wants to come out to share some memories and honour the brightness she brought to the boat, please join us on May 22nd.

To Steph's friends and family who have never been in the dragon boat: it would mean the world to us to show you this sport that Steph enjoyed so much.
