I choose her 🧚🏻‍♀️

I choose her and her 5’1 frame so that others will underestimate the amount of space she will occupy and impact she will have in this lifetime.

I choose her innocent high pitched voice to be able to deliver the harsh and difficult truths and realties of being human that people need to hear and receive.

I choose love as my superpower because the world has forgotten how.

I choose holding non judgemental space for others to process the heaviness of human life as my gift to share.

I choose her 🧚🏻‍♀️

To think we chose our character, our body, and the storyline we desire to play out.

To think we chose to be us.

You chose to be you.

I chose to be her 🧚🏻‍♀️

Because we knew that THIS BODY and THIS STORYLINE was meant for us.

Because we trusted that this body and this storyline had everything we needed to achieve our happily ever after 💕

Happily ever after looks different for everyone.

Just as mine will look much different from yours.

But if we know this to be true, why do we seek validation and directions from outside sources?

Why are we programmed to trust others over our own inner compass?

Why am I asking for directions from people who’ve never been where I want to go?!?

I chose her because I knew my journey wasn’t going to be easy, but I knew that this little being could withstand any darkness to prevail and share her light and wisdoms 💕

It’s time to embrace that you are the main character, and you wanted to be exactly who you are.

No permissions needed.

No outside validations needed.

Everything and everyone is extra and you get to decide which things add to your journey and which things hold you back.

Then place them accordingly.

It’s time to take back control of your happy 💕

Failure does not exist.

Forever is a bizarre concept.

Endings, break ups, quitting jobs and starting over terrifies us.

But why?

This underlying energy of “failure” has kept me in relationships that were no longer mutually healthy, work environments that were toxic and unsupportive, and left me ultimately unsatisfied in my day to day life.

Each time Ive braved the unknown and stepped out of my expected role I had “signed up for” I felt lighter, I could breathe again

How can endings be bad if I feel better?

Despite the fear of being alone, fear of disappointing others, judgement and that glorious Mad Rush to have it all figured out by 30

I chose to walk towards what made me FEEL good

I was tired of daily body pains, headaches, poor dietary choices and the complete disconnect from my Authentic Kate.

We think of endings as Failure which holds heavy, guilty and shameful energy as if we’ve done something wrong.

But each ending in my story has catapulted myself and others into massive growth opportunities.

Each ending made room for more aligned people, places and opportunities to present themselves to me.

If failure is such a negative thing, then why have I learned, grown and healed the most during these dark periods of my story?

Endings are redirection.

Walking your own path is the modern day rebellion.

Knowing your worth and not allowing others to treat you poorly is essential.

Choosing to only have positive, supportive and loving energies in your life isn’t selfish it’s literally the most logical thing you can do.

I embrace change head first and with that comes battling the subconscious programming of “failure”

I am not a failure, nor did any of my jobs or relationships fail.

They ran their course, we learned and grew as much as we could together and then the course ended.

We must release the old in order to receive the new.

The world is waiting to give you all that you desire, you just need to make room 💕

PSA: My kindness is not a sign of weakness.

My highly emotional nature does not make me soft or too sensitive.

My self awareness and self control does not make me selfish or stuck up.

My 5’1 stature may not immediately convey my immense personal power, and truly I am thankful it doesn’t.

I am grateful that I chose this tiny little vessel to carry out my big dreams.

I am grateful for my ability to feel and see others in their darkest moments and lead them to lighter days.

I am grateful that I trust my intuition to know when someone is good or bad for my energy, almost immediately and consciously decide to reject anything that isn’t mutually beneficial.

I am grateful that my heart has unconditionally loved so many beautifully broken angels along the way , despite my own heart being mangled itself.

I am grateful that people underestimate, dismiss or count me out because showing people what I am capable of is a true addiction of mine, especially when they doubt me.

I may be small, but I am mighty

I may sound girly and squeaky when I get excited but I have important, knowledgeable s**t to say that needs to be heard

I may have over poured my love into others in the past, but I now know how unbelievably sustainable I am.

To have now called back all of the energies I’ve scattered over this lifetime trying to save everyone, I now have the confidence, time and space to hold to help love others through their self discovery journey 💕

To say No when It’s needed

And a hearty F**K YES when the right opportunity comes your way.

You need to make room.

You need to call back your love and consciously decide where to place it 💕

As a giver you must know your limits, because the takers don’t have any.

Own your beautiful sensitivities and give yourself the grace and healing needed

Kindness is my nature , but happiness is my right 💕

Anything that doesn’t bring me happiness, love or joy no longer has a place in my universe.

And that makes me, Centred In Self 💎

Seven things I love about my life 💕

1- I love my family. I love that they are always there to hold me up, love me and guide me to a safer space. Their love has kept me afloat on my darkest of nights and I am forever grateful for each one of them.

2- I love that I own my time. I love that I can get up each day as ask myself “what are we doing today and who needs our love?”

3- I love that I have discovered my worth, I am developing and learning more about my gifts and skills everyday and I continue to surprise myself with all I am capable of accomplishing and learning.

4- I love that I have gathered an incredibly rock solid collection of likeminded souls who love me unconditionally, support me through my tough transitions and always fill up my cup when I am empty, having a solid top 5 has changed my universe entirely

5- I love that I have my Emma, my purpose, my pup by my side everyday so that I am never truly alone when I am needing my recharge days, helping to keep my sad brain from thinking ourselves into a dark place

6- I love living in Port Perry with , the quiet, the peace, the nature and the amount of exploration to be had excites me every day (plus the markets and the kind people just make me so emotional 🥹)

7- I love that everything in my life today wouldn’t have come to fruition if I didn’t believe I deserved it, if I didn’t believe there was MORE out there for me to experience.

I love the life I am consciously creating.

I am addicted to what each day will contain and what new lessons or connections or memories will be made.

Why did we stop playing ? 🧚🏻‍♀️

Why did we stop using our imaginations ?

Why does growing up HAVE to entail being less fun?

Having small beings around in my world has allowed me to take another look at this beautiful universe through their eyes.

The curiosity, the wonder, the tall tales and imaginative storylines.

The expressive emotions, feelings and tears had without any fear of judgement just pure self exploration.

The complete lack of stress, fear or anxiety holding them back from experiencing and trying new things.

I often ask myself why and at what age did we decide life no longer was allowed to be fun.

That we’ve actually began JUDGING others that are choosing to have fun and be expressive.

Once your in your 20s?

Once you get your first job ?

Once you have your first child ?

For me to consciously ASK you when you’d like to give up your “fun” you’d likely not want to give a time or date, you’d want to hold onto your fun as long as you could.

But that’s the thing about life, it keeps moving forward whether you make time to enjoy it or not.

If slowly one by one you’re giving up all your “fun”, I’m here to ask you today

HOME, is not found within a place or a person.

Over the years I have been able to occupy a variety of different spaces.

I come from a beautiful, safe and welcoming childhood home in which I am able to visit anytime to recharge my batteries.

I took off to Calgary when I was 21 and occupied an adorable condo in the upper north end for a summer in which I located, handled the bills, groceries and cooking for my roommates.

I invested in my first ever home in a quiet town at the age of 25 where I was able to learn, grow and transform into the most independent version of myself.

I’ve spend a lot of time considering my car a “home” in the most positive sense, because I’ve spend so many incredible days in my car over the last two years of finding my self and moving through my heavy emotions 💕

I am now living in a beautiful Northern Town of Port Perry and I am forever grateful for this new playground to explore.

But one of my favourite lessons to date is this :

YOU are your home 💕

This one body you’ve chosen to carry you through your life story is your Home 💕

No matter where you go

No matter who comes and goes throughout your story

Cultivating the feeling of Home within yourself creates this unstoppable force within you.

Embracing your beautiful body as your favourite residence you’ve ever occupied allows all of the spaces your energy has the opportunity to take up feel like an adventure 💕

It allows you to release the HOLD that buildings and people have over your choices.

YOU are your home.

Only you know how to love and care for your home best 💕

What if love isn’t meant to give to people ?

What if love is meant to give to life, each day 💕

What if instead we awoke each day with 100% of our Love to invest into our day.

What if each day we woke from our healing rest, allowed our Love battery to charge up to full, and consciously decided Who, What and Where our Love was going to be invested today 💕

Releasing the guilt of disconnecting from people who we don’t have direct contact with, understanding that our anxious attachments to them is not serving either of us and continues to pull from our Love Charge.

Choosing to invest your Love only into the beautiful souls you have the privilege to connect with directly in each moment 💕

Choosing to share your Daily Love with yourself, and enjoy every moment of your valuable love, soul and time on the days YOU get all of your time.

Take yourself on the date you’ve been dreaming of 💕

If we allowed ourselves to delegate our Daily Love to only the things that bring us Joy, Happiness and Love, day by day you will continue to fill each day with Intentional Love 💕

Intentional Daily Love Delegation that inevitably overtime will add up to a beautiful Story of how you fell SO madly, deeply and slowly in love with living your life 💕

Cliché says, each day is a new beginning

And today this cliché has never resonated more.

What do you want to be when you grow up ?

I’ve always wanted to help people 💕

I’ve always known I was here to make the world a Happier and Healthier place ✨

I remember wanting to be a Marine Biologist, a nurse and a teacher.

I wanted to be a Marine Biologist because I am fascinated by the ocean, lakes and all of the fascinating creatures within 💙

I wanted to be a nurse because it seemed to be the most direct route for me to be able to love and support people 1:1 💕

I wanted to be a teacher because I love collecting knowledge, wisdom and facts to share and brainstorm and create new ways of learning and thinking. I love stretching the capabilities of our minds with likeminded people 💭

My Nursing chapters have brought me immense knowledge, experiences and memories I am forever grateful for 💕

And although studying the water as a career doesn’t seem part of my professional story, I know that the oceans, lakes and it’s vast unknowns will always be a Recharging and Fascinating place for me to explore and share it’s healing energies with others 💙

To be able to take my Nursing chapters as well as my eclectic personal life experiences and Teach the lessons and skills I’ve gathered along the way, is truly my dream come true.

To be able to hold non-judgmental space for others to practice feeling their feelings and take back control of their emotional well-being

To be able to hold safe loving space for others who are ready to make the uncomfortable changes needed for their optimal health and wellness

To be able to lead the way in setting boundaries, saying NO to things that don’t align with your highest self and living unapologetically and confidently in your own skin is my purpose 💕
