🎾A NEW CHAPTER FOR PHRC!

As the dome takes shape, so does the future of tennis at Port Hope Racquet Club.

We’re excited to introduce Steve Mahar as our new Tennis Director!👋🎾

Steve will be an important part of bringing our new year-round facility to life, leading our tennis programming and helping create an exciting experience for our members and the wider community.

There’s a lot happening behind the scenes as we get closer to opening the dome — and this is another exciting piece of the puzzle.

Please join us in welcoming Steve to the PHRC team!

🏗️🎾The Dome Chronicles Continued…

Things are really starting to take shape at the Rogers Dome site!

As you can see from the photos, the asphalt has just been poured and the site is looking more and more like our future home court every day. 🎾

And there’s more good news… the dome itself has now been manufactured! 🙌

We’re now moving into the final stages of the project.

We know everyone is eager to get on court — and believe us, we are too! We will hopefully have an official opening date soon!

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported Raise the Dome along the way. We’re getting closer every day. 🙌

The finish line is in sight… and the next chapter is coming soon. 🎾

The Tennis gods were good to us yesterday and gave us a glorious day 🌞 for the club's annual Davis Cup tournament! Team Canada 🇨🇦 came out as the champs for the day playing tough matches against teams England 🇬🇧, Spain 🇪🇸, Australia 🇦🇺, and France 🇫🇷. It was great seeing some new faces and longtime club members team up to have fun and play some great tennis! 🎾

Thank you to all who participated and to everyone who came out to Ganaraska Brewing Company for a social and update on the Raise the Dome project. The future looks bright 😎 for tennis in Port Hope!

What a fantastic day 🙌 for PHRC members and friends to watch some of the highest ranking players in women's tennis at the National Bank Open! Such a pleasure to watch the skills of players including Elena Rybakina and Coco Gauff. 💪

Thanks to Tennis Canada for providing the opportunity to experience this level of tennis in the comfort of one of their suites and thank you to all who attended and helped support our Raise the Dome project! 🎾🙏

🏗️ Dome Chronicles Continued…

We got an awesome bird’s eye view of the site and we are excited to share!

Things are moving along on the construction front as the site continues to be prepared for the dome to be installed. Our partners are working hard to keep us on track for our fall opening.

As excitement continues to build for the official opening of the Rogers Dome, we will keep you all up to date on the project development!

Every little step is one closer to year round tennis in our community! We can’t wait!🎾🎾

📣📣 Our Annual Davis Cup Tournament will take place on Saturday August 29th! This is a members only event and we have very limited spots left available.

This is one of our favorite club days and is always a great day of friendly competition and fun!🎾🎾
