Extremely happy to have won the FP60 division of the 2026 Tim Selinske Masters. I had a great week, warming up with NC homies and playing tournament rounds with talented women Sherry Herzog, Pam Reineke, and Colleen Dee. It was great to chat with Christine Lomax Huestis and with Tami Pellicane who I had not seen in decades (welcome back Tami!). I am very thankful our division finished 10 minutes before the 3 hour lightning delay!
The courses designed by Gregg Hosfeld were fun, challenging and mercifully well shaded! Matt Knight and the tournament staff kept the water stations filled and supplied hydration mixes to ensure we stayed on our feet in 95 degree weather. I saw many friends at the dinner and opening ceremonies where Tim Selinske was honored.
Thank-you to MVP Disc Sports for supporting me and making the discs that flew beautifully (when thrown correctly!) through the woods, particularly the Vanish, Uplink, Relay and Virus. My thanks also to Sarah J Hokom for letting me squeeze on the end of her flymart table and to those who purchased my signature Fission Photon, Eclipse Reactor and tour series discs. Of course I would not even be playing disc golf if not for my husband Eric Vandenberg who has been unfailingly supportive ( he came in 7th in MP 65).
My next next major is the USWDGC. In the meantime participate in or support your local Women’s Global Event over the next 2 weekends.
