Friends of West Beach We are a group of local beach lovers! Over the years we have watched as the beach changed. Up until the 70's this was Port Hope’s Beach.

Our goal is to vastly improve Port Hope’s West Beach by restoring it to a recreational beach in a natural setting. Many of you will remember fond moments you and your family spent at this beautiful beach. It was a natural cooling centre long before cooling centres were a thing. ots to offer every Port Hope resident. Over the past few years we have done our best to help this gem shine. By engaging with you we have found so many others that care deeply about the beach. It has so much potential and we hope you’ll support and join us.
