You want to meditate, but you just can’t.

To much noise. Too many distractions. You feel uncomfortable. And then you say ‘I can’t meditate, because I can’t sit still’

The art of meditation is to surrender to the stillness.

But what comes before that is creating a space that feels SAFE. Without safety, we can not soften

Meditation can feel vulnerable. Your eyes are closed. You’re in the quiet , with only your breath and your thoughts.

Before you begin to meditate create a sacred space for yourself. This could look like;

☕️ Brewing your favourite tea
🕯️ Lighting a candle
🪴 Collecting a few plants to sit around and nurture before and after your meditation (plants are calming)
🌺 Pick a scent to smell before and after your meditation. Essential Oils, Lavender, Sage or Rosemary
🛌 Find a comfortable pillow to sit/lie on. Even a blanket to wrap around you so you feel safe
💎 Find an item to hold. Crystals are a beautiful way to connect to the intention of your meditation, but you may want to hold something that feels meaningful. Something to hold and keep you grounded
📝 Keep a journal close by to write any thoughts of feelings that arise after your meditation

The POWER of Psychosomatic Therapy ❤️

The top image was taken in June at the start of my journey. At this time I had just left a toxic and abusive relationship.

The bottom image, was recently taken from the last weekend of my course. Vibrant, free, joyful and loving life again!

It’s safe to say, I am extremely proud of the commitment to myself. Leaving an abusive relationship is not easy and the journey of self discovery starts all over again. With a combination of this and accumulation of grief from the passing of my Mum in 2020 it has been a journey of recognising and releasing all the emotions and beliefs that have held me back from living the life I truly want.

This transformation has purely been a mixture of recognising my emotions, releasing trauma, gentle movement, meditation, healthy sleep patterns, a new home environment and more alignment with my true self and soul.

Everyday, waking up, committing yourself to the life you deserve is the biggest gift you can give to yourself.

I can not wait to begin this next journey of helping others do the same

I thought maybe it was time to come back on here and tell you guys what I’ve been up to.

Sometimes we need to go inwards to really understand what it is we truly want for our direction in life. Instead of scrambling, we slow down and reconnect. And in that slowing down we can see things a little more clearly.

Behind the scenes I have been studying Psychosomatic Therapy and Trauma Release Bodywork.

The connection between mind, body and spirit is exceptionally profound and the principals of Psychosomatic Therapy are ‘The issues are in the tissues’.

Everything we experience. Everything we surround ourselves with has an impact on what signals into our mind, down into our body. Often illnesses are a reflection of things we are not facing in life, that the trauma we have faced, we are not confronting and moving out of our body and energy field, and so it manifests.

It enables us a safe space, to confront our darkest fears and beliefs, to move through them with courage and most of all support and love so that you can finally feel free of those burdens that hold you back from living the life you truly deserve.

I’ll share more to come with what this work really involves ❤️

Morning Flow writing 07/06/25 ✍️

The blueprint of our mind. Encoded in every part of us.
The seeds you sew will always real, so be kind to yourself, dear one.

Every thought you think, every sight you see, every smell you smell, every sound you hear, every touch you feel, encodes inside of you. Creating who you are , right now.

But you get to choose.

You get to choose your pain. You get to choose your freedom.

You get to choose your sadness. You get to choose your happiness.

We can be the victim of our suffering, or we can become the very creator of our lives.

Stuck in a void of fear.

Fear of not being enough.
Fear of being joyful.
Fear of being successful.
Fear of being loved.

But what if you change your code.

What if, you choose love instead?
What if, you choose success instead?
What if, you choose Joy instead?

The polarity between fear and love, is always a choice. And only you can decide.

Take the leap. Make the mistakes, for on the other side you always learn, something new, something greater, something more expansive.

When we learn, we grow. And one very joy of life is, growing into exactly who we want to be. Who we want to feel. Who we want to create. Who we want to live this life as. To be in joy.

To sew a legacy on this earth. To encode our footprints everywhere we walk, with every person we meet, with everything we share.

Every word you sew , has an impact on all of humanity.

So choose, dear one. Choose joy. Let fear and pain leave your life

Finding pleasure and relaxation in simple things ✍️

I bought a sketch pad and pencils recently. It’s been years since I have drawn anything, and it brings all senses of relaxation, creativity and intuitive flow from my mind onto paper.

Allowing my thoughts to calm. Release. And let go.

Find a nice place to sit. Outside or your favourite coffee shop. Use Pinterest for some inspiration and just let the creativity flow

Holding onto our trauma, letting it identify us, traps our body, traps our spirit and soul from feeling what Joy really feels like.

Maybe you feel your life is just not changing? You haven’t got the job you want, the money you’d like to earn, the friendships you earn to wish for or the partner you want.

What beliefs do you hold onto?

What stories from the past are you holding onto?

5 years ago my life changed drastically after the loss of my Mum suddenly.

My body has changed. My structure has changed. My energy has changed, all because I have been storing years of trauma, holding onto the memories, holding onto the fear because I guess it feels more comfortable than joy. It has made me entangle memories from my whole life, hitting me in the face with the realisation that we only get ONE life.

I have asked myself, do I even deserve joy? Because my Mum didn’t get to experience anymore joy.

The guilt of her losing her life, that I couldn’t control has eaten me from the inside and out.

And now I’m here. Learning, releasing, searching, shifting trauma OUT of my body, so I can feel joyful again. Feel strong again. Believe in myself without defining myself by my story.

Holding onto my trauma has left me with nothing but a weak skeleton. So please, choose joy. Don’t let fear hold you back from the life you deserve.

I believe my journey is going to release me into the next journey of life teaching and coaching others to do the exact same. There is some beautiful things coming this way after some study. I can’t wait! And I dahm well hope I can help others release themselves from stories that just do not give their life the joy they need.
