Tri-City Fencing Academy or tri-city fencing is a fencing club in the tri-city area of Port Moody, Coquitlam, and Port Coquitlam within Metro Vancouver, British Columbia. Tri-City Fencing offers introductory, recreational, and competitive programs in all fencing weapons (foil, epee, and sabre) for all age groups, particularly for under-20 (Juniors, Cadets, and Under-15's) and youth fencers (12 and younger). The Tri-City Fencing Academy is a member of the British Columbia Fencing Association (BCFA) and the Canadian Fencing Federation (CFF). PLEASE NOTE that Tri-City Fencing is a community-based organisation and any postings in our page by individuals or groups with the intention of marketing or solicitation will be removed and banned.

This month's Youth Team Tournament was a blast! Incredible displays of team spirit and passion from fencers, coaches, parents, and volunteers.

In an individual sport like fencing, it is so great to see everyone coming together to fight as a team. We are so happy with the turnout and camaraderie shown throughout the day and plan this to be the first of many, so we'll see you all again soon!

Week 1 - Epee Explorers Camp - Ages 6-9yrs

Week 2 - Epee Development Camp - Ages 10-13yrs

Both camps are open to all skill levels, beginners to champions. No experience or fencing equipment required (all though you are welcome to bring you own). Camps are running Tues-Thur from 9:00am-12:00pm.

Requirements:
- Inside Shoes
- Long pants (or fencing pants and socks)
- Snack
- CFF License

Come help us kick off 2026 with a bang! Registration is open for TFA's first Senior Open in our new facility.

Date: January 11th, 2026 (9:00am planned start)
Location: TFA HQ (507-1952 Kingsway Ave, Port Coquitlam)

This is a Random Team event - fencers will be randomly assigned a team of three and fence three 45pt bouts with their new best friends. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 teams.

Come join us this Winter Break for the first multi-day camp in our new facility! The camp is running on Dec 29th and 30th from 9am-12pm for anyone ages 6-12yrs.

Open to all skill levels, beginner to champion! Fencers and aspiring fencers will learn new things, refine their skills, and stay active during the holidays while doing fun and exciting activities. This includes engaging games, skills training, and even a mini-tournament on Day 2!

Registration is open now online (Link in Bio) and spots are filling up fast, so register early to secure your child's spot. Away for one of the days? No problem! We are also offering single day drop-in for both days, see the link in our bio for more details. See you there!
