I realized that I haven’t updated this page since 2024 so here’s a recap of last season. At the beginning of 2025, I had to make the tough decision to take the year off from mini stock racing as Jason and I were in the process of buying our first house. At that time, I had no idea if I would get to be behind the wheel of anything at all last season. By the end of the racing and fair seasons, I found myself back behind the wheel of a full-size school bus for 3 races, where I showed a lot more confidence, and with the second race being my best and finishing a strong 2nd. I jumped into a car at Wreckfest to try the Parking Wars event which I managed to win and add another big 1st place sign to the collection! I ran 3 Queen of the Ring events hosted by Impact Motorsports. I jumped back in the figure 8 car for 2 ladies figure 8 runs at both West Niagara Fair and Rockton World’s Fair where I finished 3rd in both. I ran my first demolition derby ever at the Wainfleet Fair in the ladies Junk Run where I really surprised myself by getting 2nd place and bringing home a pretty cool trophy! 🏆

By the end of the season, I showed more confidence and proved that I can be competitive in anything I set my mind to. I have experienced so many different types of racing, and the fun will continue! As always, a huge thank you to Teddy & GoGetters! 💚

Growing up, my parents always took us to watch when it was Gasport. When the track opened back up as Humberstone Speedway we were so excited. Over the years, my dad raced pure stock, streetstock, and trucks at Humberstone Speedway. My first race ever was in a ladies race in 2015 at Humberstone Speedway in the Eve of Destruction. From there I raced many more enduros and ladies races at the Eve of Destruction, minivan races, a V6 race, and a few mini stock races here. This track truly holds so many memories for my family and I, and we will miss race nights, especially the All Canadian and the Eve of Destruction moving forward. As a full circle moment for my racing career, my very last time racing at Humberstone will be in the Eve of Destruction where it first began. It breaks my heart that that will be the absolute LAST TIME the track will be open, on October 26th.

MOTHER NATURE GETS FRIDAY FALL CLASSIC RACES AT HUMBERSTONE

PORT COLBORNE, ONTARIO (October 4, 2024) … A persistent pop-up rain shower Friday evening forced Humberstone Speedway management to pull the plug on the Friday night portion of the Fall Classic Weekend. Speedway management is utilizing the Sunday rain date.

The Friday portion will now take place on Saturday with a 6pm start time with the Southern Ontario Sprints, Crate Sprints, 358 Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, and Mod Lites.

Sunday, October 6 will now feature the Saturday night portion of the Fall Classic with the 360 Sprint Cars, plus Crate Sprints, 358 Modifieds, Sportsman, Mini Stocks, Mod Lites, and Street Stocks. Pit gates Sunday will open at 1pm, with grandstands opening at 3, and racing will get underway at 5pm.

Day two of the Fall Classic will take place on Saturday, October 5 as the Southern Ontario Sprints will be in competition, plus the 358 Modifieds, Crate Sprints, Sportsman, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, and Mod Lites. Pit gates will open at 2pm, with grandstands opening at 4pm, and racing getting underway at 6pm sharp.

Rushed from work to make it to Humberstone but Mother Nature had other plans 🌧️

Tonight’s racing will be moved to tomorrow night and tomorrow’s originally scheduled racing will now be Sunday night!

Wouldn’t miss getting to race the mini stock for the last time at the track I first raced at in a ladies race and where my dad raced for years, in the last 2 race nights of it being open. The last Eve of Destruction is scheduled for October 26th which we will also be in attendance for.
