Architect Thomas McBroom utilized the granite crags, towering trees and heaving topography of the incomparable Muskoka vacation region north of Toronto with such success that the course was named the best new course in the country by Golf Digest. A nine-hole Academy Course complements its big brother on the shore of picturesque and historic Lake Joseph.

This year's Muskoka Cup was held at Grandview on Friday July 24, and it was a fantastic day from start to finish. Beautiful weather, great competition, and an incredible post-round meal from Chef Norsworthy and the culinary team made for a memorable event. Players enjoyed gourmet cheeseburgers and poutine that were the perfect way to cap off the day.

Team Rocky Crest took home the 2026 Muskoka Cup with an impressive 106.25 points. Team Grandview finished a close second with 98.25 points, followed by The Lake Joseph Club with 83.50 points.

The Lake Joseph Club is proud to partner with Operation 36!

Operation 36 is a beginner-friendly golf development program designed to help players of all ages learn to play and score on the course with confidence. Starting just 25 yards from the green, participants play 9 holes with the goal of shooting 36 (par) before progressing to longer distances through six structured levels.

The program combines weekly coaching, on-course play, and a guided curriculum supported by a mobile app to track progress, making it a fun, social, and proven way to build skills and enjoy the game.
