Nanoseconds before a sealion rolls through a bait ball of what I think are pilchard aka Pacific sardines. I was on shore filming the activity of sea lions, gulls, humpback whales and this came within 20ft away from me. Will post video once I have a chance to get in high speed internet land.

These sockeye a anxious to go up the creek to spawn but the water level is still too low. Some of them dare to approach the very shallows whilst others hang out just of the steep bank (far right)

Checking out the "Vector" to see if Ian was the captain, I ran into Michelle Bigg! After passing our lodge many times it was nice to finally meet in person. Have a great trip out!
