We are so stoked to let you all know that China Creek Campground has reopened, and we’re excited to get back on the water!
Windrider Kiteboarding will be open tomorrow, and our rescue team will be fully operational to ensure everyone’s safety.

As many of you know, we had to evacuate from China Creek Campground on Monday due to the Mount Underwood wildfire. We wanted to reassure everybody that our Windrider crew, our wonderful community, and yes—our furry friends—are all safe. 🐾💙

Just hours before the evacuation, Yahoo (pictured here) was happily riding a foil board while we taught three amazing teens how to Wing with our signature zero to hero Wing package. Later that day, the same waters became the stage for incredible aerial firefighting—helicopters filling buckets where we usually play, working tirelessly to protect our coastline.

We are in awe of our first responders and want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU. 💛

Winds have been awesome and we are full speed ahead here at Wind Rider Kite Boarding at China Creek. We have a wide range of services available for Wing Foilers and Kite Boarders . Awesome lessons and upwind drops for epic downwinders! We also offer free yoga on the beach everyday at 9am. A great way to loosen up before an amazing day on the water!
