The Pirates are pleased to announce that Rick VanVlack has accepted the position of Head Coach effective immediately.

Rick was with us this year as an Assistant Coach and previously on the coaching staff other seasons as well, including the run to the Schmaltz Cup Championship in 2013.

Spring skates are currently being planned.

A statement from the organization:

The Picton Pirates Jr. Hockey Club acknowledges the departure of Head Coach and General Manager Jamie Lane.

The Pirates organization wants to extend our sincere thanks to Jamie for his passion, hard work and contributions to the club over the past two and a half seasons.

The search for a new Head Coach and General Manager is underway, and we look forward to sharing updates with the community as the process moves forward.
