What a fantastic experience having Sam’s Scales and Tails join us on our end of the season Game On bbq at Petrolia YMCA! I cannot express how impressed I was with Sam’s presentation and the friendly demeanour of her reptiles and pets! I think everyone thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on experience!! And a special thank you to Andre Lemieux for being our master of the barbeque and Heidi's Independent Grocer for donating hotdogs and buns!! We could not have pulled this off without everyone’s support!! THANK YOU!!

Save the date!! This coming Tuesday, June 16, 10:30 AM at the Petrolia YMCA! $25 gets you admission to meet Sam’s animal friends and a bbq lunch. (bbq hotdog, chips and beverage!)

And they pulled it off again!!!! The Algarva 168 Charities put on another fabulous Fun Day!!! We cannot thank them enough for providing us the day for old friends to connect again, new friendships to begin and the opportunity for so much laughter and connection!

We ended our week with zebras, Bean Boozled Jenga and some skill building! Thxs to Beth Lucan and The Stitcharie for teaching our group how to sew their own carry bags!!! Everyone was quite proud of their final product!!!

I was out enjoying a beautiful early morning, walk today, and it was so wonderful to see all the little additions throughout our beautiful town, and to bump in to Ron, who always has a smile on his face! Some of the additions are in preparation for our upcoming Petrolia's Eats, Beats and Boutiques festival this weekend, while others are simply celebrating the arrival of Spring - and they all add so much charm and excitement to the Town of Petrolia, Ontario. I encourage everyone to come out to experience everything this amazing festival has to offer, while supporting our incredible local businesses and community. A heartfelt thank you again to the Town of Petrolia and its businesses for always being so welcoming and supportive to us at Tammy’s Place and Sarah’s Circle!

The St Francis Advocates Picnic Day was so amazing! To say we were spoiled is an understatement! From a catered meal by Burns, to popcorn, cotton candy, ice cream and prizes!!! Mother Nature gave us a perfect sunny day to top it all off 🌞
