McGill Equestrian Team

McGill Equestrian Team The show team of McGill University. We compete on the Ontario Collegiate Equestrian Association equitation circuit. McGill competes on the east zone.

McGill Equestrian prides itself on its unique dynamic: a team that not only bonds over competing on the OCEA circuit, but is also close friends beyond the show ring. All of the McGill riders share a special bond! The Ontario Collegiate Equestrian Association (OCEA) is a competitive, intercollegiate hunter equitation catch-riding circuit. The OCEA currently has 17 member schools in two zones and ho

sts almost 20 shows a year. For more information on the OCEA please visit ontariocea.ca. If you are interested in trying out for the 2019-2020 team please contact us by email with any questions. Tryouts will most likely be held the week following activities night. Come by the SSMU building to meet McGill Equestrian exec on activities night and to sign up for a tryout spot!

We're introducing something BRAND NEW ❤️🤍 Are you looking for a way to get in the saddle and make friends, but you don't want to compete in shows? Starting in the 2026-2027 season, we're opening up a NON-COMPETITIVE TEAM. Team members are open to take lessons, come to ALL team events during the season, are welcome to come along for shows, and the only requirement? A little team bonding during our annual show! Congratulations to everyone on the McGill team, each and every member contributed to the culture and success of MET this season!

A huge thank you to for graciously donating their facilities and horses for our horse show this year, and to for incredible coaching and support throughout the season. MET owes our accomplishments to you both!

That's a wrap on the McGill Equestrian Show! We had so much fun with all of you. Congrats to our girls for getting the High Point Team award, and all of your individual ribbons! We would like to give a HUGE thank you to Centre Équestre le Pré-Vert for allowing us to use your facility for our show, as well as an incredible thank you to our volunteers, sponsors, and all of the other amazing people that helped our day run a little smoother ❤️🤍
