Hey Everyone!

Just wanted to touch base with everyone as we have made some changes to the kid's classes.

First, I want to say that it wasn't an easy decision for us to make, but with Covid-19 still being a concern we have decided that we will no longer be offering a Little Warriors program (5 and 6-year-olds).

Also, for the first year of our reopening, we will have only have two class options for kids 7 years and older, a Beginner class and an Advanced class. Once registration is set up all of our returning students will be provided a pre-registration period to secure their spot and then new students will be able to register after that. Our intention is to still have the kid's classes on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Right now we are awaiting approval on our Return to Play proposal, which we hope to receive in the next few weeks. This proposal has class times and sizes in it for the kids as well as the adults, so once we have received approval we will let you all know what the remaining details are to be.

There will be Covid-19 protocols in place once we reopen and we will share those with you all as well very soon.

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to provide a quick update regarding the return of programming for Evolution
Petawawa.

At this time we do not have a set start date. While the province has allowed contact sports to resume we do not yet have the go ahead from PSP or the Base.

Our situation is unique and we associated with the Base clubs and train in a base facility. I know its frustrating, but at this time Base clubs will not resume until everything is set and safe for our students.

What I can tell you is that we are working on a new schedule of classes and setting up a new training area. These details will be released when we have a start date.

We want to thank you all for your patience, we are super anxious to get back to the mats... back to instructing, coaching, training. Back to normal.

I assure you, the ball is rolling.

With the announcement of contact sports resuming in Stage 3 this coming week, we wanted to let everyone know that Prof. Steve and Coach Scott are in talks with PSP for our return. We are super excited to be back on the mats, it's been a very long 16 months since our last class in 2020.

BJJ: A Return to the mats (Sort of)

Hi Everyone,

I hope you and your families have all been safe and healthy during the pandemic. As you all know, we have been shut down for training since March 13th, that's 6 months without seeing you all on the mats.

It doesn't look hopeful that we will be able to return to the mats in the normal sense, but we are excited to announce that we will be launching online classes in October, with Professor Steve Burgess (IBJJF - certified 2nd Degree Black Belt) as the Cheif Instructor. We are currently working on the schedule and content for the classes, and hope to roll those details out to you in the near future. We will launch online classes for Youth, Adult, and Ladies.

We will release all the details for registration and classes via email and Facebook/Instagram so keep an eye out for that.

As well, for our youth and adult students, I will be contacting those of you who have ordered and paid for uniforms to arrange for delivery or pick up before classes begin.

Thank you for your patience and we are excited to start training and passing on the knowledge of BJJ to our students once again!

Hi everyone,

We have received word from PSP-CFMWS Garrison Petawawa that all Community Recreation and Personal Support Personnel Buildings will be closed from Saturday, March 14 to Sunday, April 5, 2020.

This includes the RecPlex and Dundonald Hall which directly affects our BJJ programs. Therefore, all classes will be suspended during this time.

As we receive updates we will communicate with you as soon as it is reasonably possible to do so.
