The boating community came together on September 13, 2025, at for their annual boater event, enjoying a lively celebration of maritime heritage, historic ship displays, and even a mock cannon battle brought to life by The Ship’s Company of Penetanguishene.

Harbour West Marina proudly presented a $1,000 donation to the GBGH Foundation, collectively raised by attendees. ✨ This gift will support the Foundation’s Impact Fund, addressing the hospital’s most urgent needs.

Hosting their annual event in support of GBGH since 2022, Harbour West Marina continues to make a meaningful difference in ensuring our community has access to high-quality care, right here at home.

Step back in time and experience a living history recreation right here on the bay off Harbour West Marina!

Witness historic sailboats engage in a thrilling ship-to-shore battle, complete with 3-pound swivel black powder cannons and the mighty original 1847 British Dundas 32-pound shore defence cannon.

🎟 Raffle – $5 per ticket
Winner gets to fire the shore cannon! Drawing takes place at 1:20 PM at Harbour West Marina on the point.

All proceeds support the Ships Company of Penetanguishene and the preservation of historic boats.
