🎉 Huge shout out to the Green Angels who have donated an extra $2,000 to the Bouldering Wall !! Thank you for supporting our project - what a great community we live in. This brings us to a grand total of $64,000 raised so far.

Happy New Year everyone! 🎉
Thank everyone for their generous donations. So far, within the community alone, we have just passed the $32,000 ! 👏

100% of proceeds will go to the cause AND you still get your donation tax receipt.

As amazing as that is, the biggest news is that Pender Island Parks & Recreation Commission (PIPRC) has taken on our project as part of their Capital Plan for 2026-30! This means the structure will be located on PIPRC land. We are sitting down with the committee next week to discuss potential locations.
We will remain the project managers; PIPRC are joining forces to add their expertise & financial backing to the Bouldering Wall Project to ensure its long term success.

Thank you to the PENDER ISLAND LIONS for their generous $5k pledge to our project! Thank you for seeing the value in our project and believing in our vision. It really takes a community to get a project like this built!
This brings us to $32K raised so far. That's a quarter of the way! We will have a booth set up at the Yuletide markets on Saturdays from 10-2 at the Community Hall. Come say hi on your next visit !

Hi Everyone! Sorry for the long silence... We have been waiting for a few important pieces to fall in place. Here is the most exciting one : we have changed providers!
The Pender Island Bouldering wall will now be manufactured by High Performance Climbing Walls. They can offer the same quality structure as our previous provider. Not only is this a local company based on Vancouver Island, but they will be able to design and build our structure in a shorter time frame and at a lesser cost. Hoorays all around! Here is to supporting local businesses 🙌
