And Summer Breeze said......."Goodbye"
Our lives changed forever when she arrived and again, the day she departed.
No matter how long you have them, it's never long enough, it's crushing when they leave.

Travelling 20,687 km, spending 75 days on the road in Canada & the US, was a really special way to spend the summer.
We were a little late for the Sturgis Motorcycle rally but enjoyed our visit in South Dakota just the same. As our drive continued through SD and Montana the landscape began to look more and more like home, reminding us that our season was changing, that summer was gone.
In reflection, we had learned more than we wanted about RV maintenance and "on the road" repairs but the good far outweighed those inconveniences. We encountered many, many fellow RVers, met and chatted with strangers, visited friends, family and countless special places along the way.
This has truly been a wonderful journey.

The Corn Palace in Mitchell SD. Another quirky little stop along our route where we enjoyed being tourists. I bought some kernels for popping later and tried the tasty "caramel cob".

These are a few pieces of the wonderful street art on permanent display in Sioux Falls SD. The falls themselves are spectacular but of course phone pictures don't come close to hearing the roar, seeing the movement and experiencing the spray of water on your face.

Driving west, allows us a front row seat to some beautiful sunsets.

Still driving historic Route 66 highway. There are a lot of quirky things to see and many communities that have preserved their little piece of the route.
