OFF THE RAILS GRAVEL PARTY! We’re hosting the always fun Gravel Party next Sunday August 30th. This year we’re introducing new ways to ride. The always popular 100km ride (new route for 2026), plus 80km and 50km routes that cover gravel, the rest stop(s) and the Seguin Trail (optional). You can choose day-of what course you take. The after party, as always will be at Trestle Brewing Company.

Hey this is Allie! I wanted to share my experience finishing my first 100km this past weekend with PS Bikes. Beforehand I was excited for the event; knowing it would be hard, but I could finish it. At the beginning of the ride I was overwhelmed with all the familiar faces. I did not expect to meet so many people in just 3 months. As the ride began I was filled with happiness to be part of this event and participate with people I care about. As the ride went on the sun got hotter, the hills felt bigger and I began to feel pain in most parts of my body. 80km into the ride I was exhausted and feeling dehydrated. I pushed myself to get to the end. I felt proud of myself and accomplished once I completed the ride. I rode right to the Bay and jumped in! When I got to Trestle I was once again delighted to see so many familiar faces. I am very fortunate to be part of the cycling community in Parry Sound. 100km is not easy, but a good way to challenge yourself on the bike!

What a day to ride 100 kilometres! Congratulations and a huge pat-on-the-back to the 60+ people that participated in our annual 100km event. There were familiar faces, new faces, fast riders, and first timers.

Photo dump from the 24 Hours of Summer Solstice Mountain Bike Race and Festival. We camped, raced, rode fast, laughed, had a few crashes (nothing major), and made it onto the second step of the podium.

While racing can be tough in the moment, no matter how it goes, it’s always worth it. If you’ve been thinking of signing up for an event or race I recommend it.

Proud of our team for their fast laps, their grit and the fact that all of us are from the same small town. :)
