Manitou Ridge began, as most big projects do, with a small idea posed by a group of Manitouwabing Lake cottagers several years ago. After careful planning and consultation, 300 acres of spectacular land was acquired. The kind of natural environment that excited the golfer with its pristine course and unspoiled wonders of nature alike. Alongside a unique golf course experience, you can have a Fly & Play or Stay & Play at Manitou Ridge. As for dining our Lakeside Dining restaurant and patio is open to the public. Manitou Ridge's Clubhouse is the perfect place to relive the day’s shots and for family and friends for an afternoon or an evening out, casual or sophisticated bistro menus are created monthly using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients.

With a perfect fall day setting the stage, the Ridgemen took to the course for our annual Ryder Cup. 🏆 Thirteen matches were selected by Team Europe captain Gary Jarrett and Team Canada captain Dan Plante, setting the stage for another chapter in this friendly international rivalry. Team Europe made their way toward Lake Manitouwabing, led by their Scottish piper, while Team Canada awaited their arrival, announcing their presence with the unmistakable sound of hockey sticks clapping against the pavement. An incredible day of golf ensued, ending in dinner and drinks, where everyone gathered to celebrate the day and calculate the final Ryder Cup results. And then came the surprise: in an almost mathematical anomaly, the Ryder Cup finished in a tie! As per Ryder Cup tradition, the defending champions retain the Cup in the event of a tie. And so, in keeping with the spirit of this friendly competition, Team Canada retained the Ryder Cup for another year. Cheers, congratulations, and we'll see you in 2027!
