And just like that, the 2025/2026 hockey season comes to an end.

The Nanaimo Steelmen would like to extend congratulations to the on winning the McCallum Cup this season, and we wish them the best of luck in their pursuit of the Coy Cup!

We also want to express our heartfelt thanks to all of our sponsors this year - we couldn’t have had such a successful
season without your support!

A big thank you to our volunteers for dedicating countless hours and time to help with game day operations, both on and off the ice.

The Nanaimo Steelmen are back at home ice at the Nanaimo Ice Centre tonight with a 7:15 PM puck drop as they face the Powell River Regals in Game 2 of the McCallum Cup Final.

The Regals lead the best-of-three series 1–0, and the Steelmen will look to even the series in Game 2 and force a Game 3.

If a Game 3 is forced, it all comes down to Sunday night. Both teams will battle it out on March 22 at 7:00 PM at the Nanaimo Ice Centre with the McCallum Cup on the line — winner takes all. 🏆

🎟️ Tickets are $10 for Adults, $5 for Seniors (65+) and Students (13–18), and FREE for kids under 12.

The Nanaimo Steelmen would like to extend a huge congratulations to our Assistant Coach Jordan Kamprath, along with our Assistant Captains Keagan Fedorko ( #7) and Colby Shelton ( #20), and the U18 Cowichan Capitals on capturing bronze at Provincials in Trail this past week. 🥉👏
