The PFSC Board was proud to introduce a new recognition for PFSC skaters who have graduated high school and are continuing their education at a trade school, college, or university. This bursary is named in honour of Marilyn Prine—a former PFSC President, long‑serving board member, dedicated skating parent, and an unwavering champion of our club.

While the club already presents an award in memory of her son, Robin, this new bursary celebrates Marilyn herself. It recognizes her deep belief in the value of sport for youth and her understanding of the sacrifices—both personal and financial—that families make to support their children’s participation in skating. Through this bursary, we honour Marilyn’s legacy of commitment, compassion, and support for PFSC skaters and their futures.

The first recipients of this bursary award were Madelyn Tapp and Emily Percival. Congratulations and the PFSC Club wishes you all the best in your post secondary education!

Congratulations to Nancy on being the recipient for the PFSC volunteer award. Nancy joined the board just before Covid and was instrumental in organizing many of the volunteer shifts when attendance was needed. She is always willing to lend a hand, Organize events, pick up what is needed and just a doer! Congratulations Nancy, the club is lucky to have you! 💙

Summer skating schedule is now available. Registration opens on June 11.

Good news! We will be holding a CanSkate session this summer on Wednesdays for 8 weeks.

All STAR sessions are individual dates. Sign up for the dates and times that work for your schedule. Registration for all summer sessions will close immediately at the start of each session. Skaters MUST be registered online to skate on the session. If any sessions have low enrollment they could be cancelled.

Skate Ontario held their promotional ticket draw and Nancy from Paris Figure Skating Club won the Blackstone Griddle!! Congratulations Nancy!

The Paris Figure Skating Club Annual General Meeting and Awards Banquet for the 2025/2026 season will take place on Monday, June 15th at 6:00 pm at the Brant Sports Complex - Lafarge Hall.

The awards will immediately follow the AGM. 

There is no cost to attend.  Pizza, desserts and refreshments will be served.
