📖 You wouldn't hand a 6-year-old a chapter book on day one of first grade and expect them to read it. So why do we hand kids a soccer ball and expect them to just… play?

Here's the thing:

🧠 Higher physical literacy = better focus, stronger memory, and more consistent activity
🙌 Kids who feel confident moving stick with sport instead of opting out

We're shining the light on another fantastic location, this time in St. John's! We're so excited to bring our Fall Multi-Sport Indoor Drop-In program to Southlands Community Centre this season. 🍂

Little ones ages 2.5 to 6 will spend their evenings learning new skills, trying new sports, making friends, and having a blast. From soccer to tennis and everything in between, it's the perfect way to keep active kids moving all fall long!

🚂 Hey Newfoundland! Ever seen a base run turn into a choo-choo train? Or a jump shot start as reaching for the stars? At Sportball, that's just how we play!

Storytelling isn't a side act in our programs. It's how we connect with the minds of our littlest athletes. In our Parent & Child classes, kids aren't "running bases"... they're chugging along the tracks, all aboard and having a blast the whole way.

The same magic happens with our basketball class! Before a shot is ever a "shot," it's a big reach up to the sky, and while they're playing along, they're building the coordination that turns into the real skill later. The fun comes first, and the athlete follows. 🎉

And as they grow, the story grows with them. We shift from imaginative play to following the leader and interacting with their teammates, building confidence and social skills, one adventure at a time.

Registration is officially OPEN for Sportball Fall programs across Paradise, Mount Pearl & St. John's, and spots fill fast once the back-to-school rush hits! 🏀⚽🎾

Whether your little one is a returning all-star or brand new to the crew, there's a spot with their name on it. Our coaches use a fun, play-based approach to introduce kids to 8 different sports, all while building confidence, coordination, and plenty of big smiles. 🌟

🕵️ Newfoundland parents, is it just us, or does all that eager cleanup energy in class not quite make the trip home? In class they're the first to help pack up. At home, tidying up can be a slightly harder sell 😅....We love them for it either way!💙

Fall programs are coming soon, and helping kids build those good habits (teamwork, responsibility, pitching in) is exactly what we do best. Results at home may vary... 😉

There's a reason we end every class with the Sportball Cheer! 🎉 It's more than just a fun chant. It helps our little Newfoundland athletes remember the sport they just learned, builds their confidence, and sends them home beaming. 🌟 When the kids shout out the sport of the week together, you can feel the excitement in the air… and honestly, our coaches say it's their favorite part of the day too! Drumroll please… 1, 2, 3, BASKETBALL! 🏀
