Mental illness affects every single one of us. In fact, by age 40, 50% of Canadians will have or have had a mental illness. Yet so many don’t seek the help they need, or worse, help is not available when they do. The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) is dedicated to breaking down barriers and promoting mental health for all of us.
On August 10, 25 swimmers will brave the cold waters of the North Atlantic and swim across the Tickle from Portugal Cove to Bell Island in an effort to raise awareness and much needed funds for the CMHA.
We are proud to support this fantastic initiative, and one swimmer in particular, Justin McCormack, who is a part of our Sportsman community. If you can, click the link to donate to Justin’s campaign. Every little bit helps. PLEASE SHARE!
I'm doing a 5k swim across Conception Bay; Portugal cove - Bell Island in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association - Newfoundland and Labrador division (CMHA-NL) and would appreciate ANY support you're able to give.
