2026 Toyota Plaza Provincial Road Running Series STANDINGS
*Please note that results from the Run From Away races on May 23 and the Commander Gander 5k and 10k on August 1 are not yet available and are not included in the standings.

Here’s how the standings are shaping up across the women’s and men's divisions — huge performances all around!

🚗🔥 Toyota Series 2026 – Female Category Leaders Update!

🏅 U20 Female
Alice Paterson leads the way with 17 pts, followed by Clara Yetman and Anna Bazeley tied at 10 pts.

🏅 Female 20–29
A tight battle at the top!
Darcie Stapleton and Julia Earle are locked at 20 pts each, with Ally Wilkins close behind at 18 pts.

🏅 Female 30–39
Dominant season from Laura Lawes — she sits on 47 pts!
Courtney King holds strong in second with 38 pts.

🏅 Female 40–49
It’s another tie at the top:
Catherine Deveau and Allison Noseworthy share the lead with 22 pts.
Margo Soucy follows with 20 pts.

🏅 Female 50–59
A commanding lead from Tracy Lawrence — 42 pts across all six races!

🏅 Female 60–69
Yvonne Martin continues her powerhouse season with 46 pts.
Martha Sweeting sits second at 23 pts.

🏅 Female 70–79
Perfect consistency from Joan Hartery — 50 pts and scoring in every race!

🏅 Female 80+
Florence Barron leads the way with 40 pts after four straight scoring races.

🏅 U20 Male
Jack Woollam leads with 25 pts, followed by Aidan Douglas (20 pts) and Isaac Peddle (15 pts). Strong youth competition this season.

🏅 Male 20–29
A commanding lead from Adam Guy — sitting at 42 pts after scoring in every race.
David Mack (30 pts) holds second, with Luca Rotondi (19 pts) in third.

🏅 Male 30–39
Daniel Conway tops the division with 22 pts, just ahead of Steven Lannon (21 pts) after a busy race schedule. Kurtis Walsh (18 pts) rounds out the top three.

🏅 Male 40–49
Brian Caines leads with 37 pts, showing strong consistency across the series.
A tight battle for second between Tim Murphy and Steve Emberley, both at 22 pts.

🏅 Male 50–59
One of the biggest leads in the entire series — Paul Bassler sits at 58 pts, scoring in all six races.
Bradley Hickey (38 pts) and Andrew Smith (31 pts) follow.

🏅 Male 60–69
Scott Downey leads with 39 pts, followed closely by Sheldon Quinton (35 pts).
Lloyd Dawe (24 pts) holds third with strong mid‑season results.

🏅 Male 70–79
A powerhouse season from Peter Gammon — 49 pts and scoring in every race.
Rick Lawes and Keith Barrington share second at 40 pts each.

🏅 Male 80+
William Boyde leads with 49 pts, showing remarkable consistency across the series. Jim Barnes sits second with 26 pts.

2026 NL Summer Games Track & Field -
August 13-15, 2026, Stephenville High School Athletic Complex, Stephenville

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ What an incredible few days on the track and in the field at the 2026 Newfoundland and Labrador Summer Games!

Athletes delivered outstanding performances, personal bests, and podium finishes while proudly representing their regions. From explosive sprints and distance races to impressive jumps and throws, the dedication and hard work of every athlete was on full display.

- Western dominated both team competitions with commanding leads in men's (550.5) and women's (516) divisions

- Paige Ivany (Western) was a standout in girls distance events, winning the 800m, 1500m, and 3000m

- Crispen Hatendi (Western) swept the boys 100m and 200m and won shot put

- Several athletes excelled in multiple events: Myah Banfield (Central) won 100m, high jump, and javelin
