❗️ IMPORTANT RACE DAY INFORMATION! ❗️

Once again sharing important information for tomorrow!

---Marathon Runners
6:45am Bus will leave E J Broomfield Arena for Marathon start at 8:00am in North West River

---Half Marathon Runners
9:15am Bus will leave E.J. Broomfield Memorial Arena for Half Marathon start at 10:00am at Birch Brook

---10km Runners
10:30am Bus will leave E.J. Broomfield Memorial Arena for 10km start at 11:00am at Otter Creek Seaplane Base

---5km Runners
11:10am Bus will leave E.J. Broomfield Memorial Arena for 5km start at 11:30am near Fillatre's Funeral Home

BAG DROP
You can leave your bags on the race bus prior to your race. All items will be retrieved by volunteers and placed on the stage inside Kinsmen Park in the finish line area.

RACE COURSE
All races occurring on Sunday, October 11 are taking place on an open course (provincial highway). Runners must always maintain their situational awareness. There are road marshals at road intersections, and we have a ZERO tolerance for ear buds of any type. Headphones are not permitted during any NL Athletics-sanctioned road race events.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE
If you need assistance during the race or cannot finish the race, please call me at 709-899-3080. We have various emergency response vehicles, medics and course sweepers positioned throughout the course, but I am also available to assist.

We know you will all have an incredible race and enjoy our Big Land hospitality at the finish line with MOOSE BURGERS and TOUTONS! 🍽️ 🍔

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
TWO-HOUR ROAD CLOSURE DURING THE TRAPLINE MARATHON

The Trapline Marathon runs by volunteers! Please respect the directions you are given on Sunday, October 11 to ensure the safety of our runners. Traffic delays may occur, so please allow additional time to arrive at your destination.

The Organizing Committee would like to thank the public for its cooperation and respect of our volunteers, and appreciates the continued support of motorists to ensure the safety of runners.
