Paradise Minor Hockey Association – Ice Time Update
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Paradise Minor Hockey has been working hard over the past several seasons to secure additional ice time at the Paradise Double Ice Complex. Despite repeated requests to the Town of Paradise for more regular hours, additional ice time has remained limited.
We are grateful that the Town continues to provide PMHA with the first opportunity to access ice time when it becomes available. While this is appreciated, the unpredictable nature of these openings can make it challenging to plan and schedule regular programming in advance.
As our association continues to grow, we are pleased to share some positive news! For the first time, PMHA has secured additional ice time at the DF Barnes Arena.
Ice time will be available on Saturdays from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. During these weekends, teams may occasionally be scheduled for practices or games at DF Barnes rather than the Paradise Double Ice Complex.
Please keep the following in mind:
Download the Spordle app and ensure you link the applicable Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) numbers for all players in your family to ensure you have full visibility of your team’s schedule.
Check the PMHA website regularly for schedule updates and changes.
Stay in contact with your team manager if you have any questions regarding your team’s schedule or assigned ice location.
We understand that scheduling changes can create challenges for families, and we appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we continue working to provide the best possible hockey experience for our players.
This is a positive step forward for our growing association, and we will continue to explore every opportunity to secure additional ice time for our membership.
Thank you for your continued support of Paradise Minor Hockey!
LET’S GO, WARRIORS!
