Congratulations Jaden

We are pleased to announce the selection of Jaden Smith with the 102nd overall pick in the 7th Round of the 2026 MHL Draft.

A native of St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Smith is a 2010-born forward who brings speed, skill, and determination to the Timberwolves organization. Standing 5'9" and weighing 150 pounds, Jaden has developed into a dynamic offensive player who consistently creates opportunities and competes hard in every zone of the ice.

During the 2025-26 season with the U18 Pinnacle Growlers, Smith was a key contributor for one of Newfoundland's top programs. In 31 games, he recorded 13 goals and 15 assists. Showcasing his offensive instincts, puck skills, and ability to make plays in critical situations.

Aiden, we welcome you as part of the 2026 Draft Class of new Mariners.

Graham is a 2010 forward that comes to us from the U18AAA O’Neill Nissan Growlers.

The Avalon Celtics family would like to congratulate alumnus Luke Adam on an incredible professional hockey career and wish him all the best on his retirement.

From his early days with the Avalon Celtics to representing Team Canada on the international stage, playing in the QMJHL, NHL, AHL, ECHL, and overseas, Luke’s journey is a testament to hard work, perseverance, and dedication to the game.

Over 20 years of competitive hockey, Luke achieved milestones that most players only dream of, while proudly representing Newfoundland and Labrador wherever the game took him. His accomplishments continue to inspire the next generation of Celtics players chasing their own hockey dreams.
