PSA is proud to announce the launch of our Travel Teams beginning in Spring 2027, providing athletes with the opportunity to train, develop and compete together at events outside Newfoundland.
Our goal is to take prepared teams to competitive events and give our athletes the opportunity to compete to the best of their abilities.

Our 9U Major Program is designed for young athletes who already have a strong grasp of baseball fundamentals and are ready for a greater challenge. This is not an entry-level program; it’s intended for players who understand the game’s core skills and rules and want to continue developing in a structured, competitive environment.

Running November to May, this program follows a continuous, progressive training model that emphasizes technical development, game awareness, and physical readiness.

Each 1.5-hour session encompasses all areas of player development, including:

For young female baseball players in Newfoundland and Labrador, there may be no better example of where a love for the game, hard work and opportunity can lead.

Jaida grew up training at Premier Sports Academy and has gone on to accomplish things few could have imagined when she first picked up a baseball. She represented Newfoundland and Labrador at the Canada Games, becoming the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹, continued her baseball career at the collegiate level, has medalled representing her country on the world stage, and most recently made history when she was 𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 14𝙩𝙝 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙔𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙃𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙒𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣’𝙨 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙚 𝘿𝙧𝙖𝙛𝙩.
Now, we want the next generation to grow up believing they can follow that path too.

The 𝙅𝘼𝙄𝘿𝘼 𝙇𝙀𝙀-𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙚 is about creating an environment specifically for young girls where they can be pushed to develop their skills, build confidence, make friendships and, most importantly, 𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹.


Jaida will remain connected to the program, helping us promote and grow opportunities for young female players and, when her schedule allows, spending time with the girls who now get to proudly say: “I play in the JAIDA LEE-ague!”
