Xtreme Training Newfoundland's complete off-ice hockey training and rehabilitation facility.

Xtreme Training will target and help develop our players shooting, passing, and stick handling abilities to bring their game to the next level. Through the guidance and coaching of our professional staff and with the use of our state of the art hockey training technology including the Rapid Shot and Rapid Hands machines we will be able to help our players shoot harder, release faster, pass more accurately, and stick handle with confidence.

At Xtreme, we believe every player deserves focused instruction and the opportunity to improve. That starts with having the right player-to-coach ratio.

When young players spend too much time waiting around, they lose focus. That’s why we keep our sessions moving, our players engaged, and our coaches involved every step of the way.

With enough coaches to provide consistent feedback and individual attention, no player gets left behind. 💪

Becoming a complete hockey player takes more than stickhandling and shooting. Power skating helps players build the speed, balance, agility, edge control, and movement skills they need to become better all-around players.

At Xtreme Hockey, we keep players learning by introducing new drills every week. New challenges keep players engaged, push them outside their comfort zone, and give them the opportunity to constantly add new skills to their game.

Player development doesn’t happen by doing the same thing over and over. It happens by constantly learning, adapting, and getting better. 💪

The Xtreme Training After-School Program is in full swing, giving kids a chance to burn off energy, stay active, and keep their minds engaged after school days.

This isn’t a hockey program, it’s an everything program!

Kids are picked up in the Xtreme bus and brought to the facility for an afternoon of activity, creativity, and fun.

Xtreme’s 2019 Girls Travel Team put in the work at Xtreme Training last night! 💪

From moving weight in the gym to putting in countless reps on the synthetic ice, the team is building strength, sharpening skills, and developing together as they get battle-ready for the spring.

Congratulations to Xtreme Hockey alumnus Alex Newhook and everyone involved in the third annual Alex Newhook & Friends Golf Classic, which raised an incredible $160,125 to support multiple non-profit organizations in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

At Xtreme Hockey, our goal has always been about more than developing hockey players. We’re committed to developing people, on the ice and off it.

Alex is a great example of that. From his time at Xtreme to representing Newfoundland in the NHL, he continues to be a tremendous ambassador for our province and a strong example of what it means to give back to the community.

We’re proud to see one of our alumni using his platform to make a difference right here at home.
