Behind the scenes of our Annual Facility Closure 👀
While the Y was closed last week, our team was hard at work getting the facility ready for another season. Our annual one-week shutdown gives us the opportunity to complete deep cleaning, maintenance, repairs, staff training and facility improvements - important work that helps keep our spaces safe, welcoming and running smoothly, while reducing service disruptions throughout the year.
Here’s a look at some of what went on behind the scenes:
📚 All-staff training at Rotary YMCA Camp Presqu’ile
🏊 Aquatics, Fitness, and Membership Sales & Service department training
🧼 High dusting and deep cleaning throughout the facility
🔧 Leisure Pool tile repairs
💡 Light replacements
🏋️ New fitness equipment installed, including Upright Bikes, NuStep, Seated Leg Curl, Row, Pectoral Fly/Rear Deltoid, Shoulder Press, Seated Arm Curl, Standing Calf Raise and Biceps Curl/Triceps Extension
🏀 Gym floor refinishing
A big thank you to our staff for the time, teamwork and hard work that went into preparing the Y for our members.
