We are a club open to people of all ages interested in playing badminton! The Holy Trinity Badminton Club (HTBC) offers badminton programs to the Ottawa, Kanata, and Stittsville residents, for recreational and competitive players. The club runs on Sundays from 10am to 3pm at Holy Trinity Catholic High School. In the main gym, there are 6 courts capable of accommodating around 48 people (24 playing
, 24 sitting off). The general play system uses a game board, consisting of name tags and a miniature model of the courts. There will be an exec arranging games (which will be displayed on the game board), calling a court change every 15 minutes, and everyone will rotate on (or off) of the courts. The games will be arranged by level and gender with the intention of members experiencing a variety of games, interesting games, and an equal/fair amount of play time. The club does not provide showers, but there are washrooms to change in. There are water fountains for drinking from and refilling water bottles with. The badminton club has adequate lighting, and large tables to sit at while waiting for a badminton game. The tables are near power outlets, for those times you need to bring a laptop to work or study between games.
