The Ottawa Irish are one of Canada's premiere rugby clubs with a goal of promoting rugby and developing great athletes both on and off the field. The Ottawa Irish Rugby Club was founded in 1963 and today the club offers women's and men's programs for all ages, and skill levels.

🏉 Minor Winter Training Starts This Sunday 🏉

Our Minor Winter Training programs for U6, U8, U10, and U12 are kicking off this Sunday, and registration is still open.

For the first time, our minor winter program will run indoors, focusing on movement, skills, decision-making, and fun games to keep young players active through the offseason.

🕒 Sundays at Hopewell Avenue Public School
• U6 & U8: 1:00 to 2:15 PM
• U10 & U12: 2:30 to 4:00 PM

Our Junior Winter Training program (U14, U16, U18) kicks off this Saturday at the Orleans Dome, with registration still open.

This program runs weekly through the winter and focuses on skills, conditioning, and keeping players sharp during the offseason.

🕒 Saturdays at the Orleans Dome
• 2:00 to 3:00 PM
📅 January 10 to April 25
❌ No session on January 24
⏰ April 11 and April 18: 4:00 to 5:00 PM

Already registered with the Ottawa Irish this past summer?
Players can try this weekend for free without registering for winter training.

We can’t wait to bring our Senior Men’s and Women’s players, coaches, friends, and family together for our end-of-year banquet!

📅 Date: December 6

⏰ Time: 5 PM – late

📍 Location: Heart & Crown, ByWard Market

👗 Attire: Semi-formal

We’ll have light snacks available, and the Heart & Crown menu will be open for anyone who’d like to order a meal.

It’s been an incredible season for both our Men’s and Women’s teams, and we’re excited to celebrate all the hard work, growth, and accomplishments with the Ottawa Irish community.
