Another fun call out!!
The Ottawa Girls Hockey Association (OGHA) is looking for passionate women and former players who want to step behind the bench and help shape the next generation of girls' hockey. No coaching experience is needed - just enthusiasm, leadership, and a love for the game.
We are focused on building a better understanding of the role of a coach and seeing the game from a leadership perspective. Whether you're a former player, a hockey parent, or someone who wants to give back to the sport, we would love to hear from you.
Our initiative is about supporting the next wave of female coaches and increasing the presence of women in coaching roles across the OGHA. It's a great opportunity to stay connected to the game, make a positive impact, and become part of a supportive coaching community.
If you are at least 18 years old, ever thought about coaching, but weren't sure how to begin, this is for you. For OGHA players younger than 18 years old, who want to develop their leadership skills, watch for other opportunities to help out with the association!
Our plan is to host a kick-off meeting with interested participants in later September.
