📍Located in Barrhaven | 🌐 nepeanbmx.com BMX Racing (bicycle motocross) has been around since the early '70s. It was invented by kids for kids, who were emulating their motocross heroes by using their bicycles. The sport quickly gained popularity over the years and which ultimately became an Olympic sport in 2008. This sport provides people of

all ages a positive activity, which promotes competition and good sportsmanship. BMX is an individual sport which involves the entire family. Riders compete not only by age but also by proficiency, allowing participants to race others who are of like age and skill level.

Monday, June 15 - balance bike clinic 5:30-6:00 pm; inter/expert clinic 6-7:30 pm, drop ins $30 per rider

Tuesday, June 16 - Gate practice 6:30 - 8 pm

Wednesday, June 17 - inter/expert clinic 6-7:30 pm, drop ins $30 per rider

Thursday, June 18 - Local Race registration is 6-6:30 pm

Friday to Sunday - track open weather dependant.

⏰ Registration opens at 6:00pm
🏁 Racing starts once registration closes

🚲 WHAT TO BRING
👉 A bike (rentals available!)
👉 A helmet (rentals available!)
👉 Long sleeves and long pants
👉 Closed toe shoes
👉 A little courage

🍔 FUNDRAISING BBQ
Be sure to purchase a burger or hotdog and support one of Nepean’s local riders as he heads to Brisbane 🇦🇺🦘for the BMX World Championship!

🚲 One of Nepean’s local riders, Callan, will be traveling to Brisbane, Australia to compete in the BMX WORLDS this summer!

🌭Come out to this week’s local race to support his fundraising efforts with the purchase of a hamburger or hotdog.

🍫Nepean BMX will also share proceeds purchased from the Snack Shack that night.

🚲 Come on out and support one of our local riders!
