At no time in history has the "less is more" argument carried more weight.
More people find themselves in survival mode. Not just for a day or a week. They exist full time in survival mode. It has become the new normal and it is accompanied by an increase in hate, jealousy and judgement.
In time, muscle memory takes over and before you know it, we have become masters of negativity. We get comfortable with all of the traffic running through our minds. The mere idea of being able to change tack and look to a healthier horizon in the opposite direction is near impossible. Talk about an addiction that we cannot shake.
Division and devisiveness becomes the new, unstable foundation.
The rooted strength that comes with being principled is cut down without hesitation.
In that negative space, we exist externally and wither internally.
We inevitably lose control. Our lust can never be satiated.
We worry about how we will be judged because we are guilty of judging.
In that space, remind yourself that "less is more". Rather than worry about how you are judged externally, look within and courageously run naked.
Take time to breathe deeply. Shift from fight or flight to rest and digest. Lower the cortisol and increase the dopamine.
Simplify by sorting!
Taking on everything the world seemingly piles on to your wagon is not a noble mission.
