Quand la danse crée des ponts à travers le monde... ✨🌍

Ce week-end, on avait la visite extraordinaire de la seule et unique Siobhan Camille.

Pour ceux qui ne la connaissent pas encore : elle est originaire de Nouvelle-Zélande, a étudié au Canada, vit aujourd'hui aux Pays-Bas, et réussit le tour de force d'être à la fois une scientifique spécialiste en conditionnement physique et une danseuse orientale absolument merveilleuse.

J'ai eu le bonheur de la rencontrer à l'époque où elle étudiait à Montréal. Alors l'avoir de passage chez nous, c'était le combo parfait : revoir une amie d'exception et me plonger tête première dans ses ateliers. Mon doux que ça m'a challengée ! Sur tous les plans, elle repousse nos limites et nous fait réfléchir à notre mouvement autrement.

Et non, je n'ai aucune photo de notre fin de semaine ! Pas une seule. Celle que vous voyez a été prise par quelqu’un d’autre. J'étais tellement ancrée dans le moment présent, à essayer d'assimiler chaque parcelle de son savoir et de générosité, que le téléphone est resté au fond du sac.

Bref, la danse a ce pouvoir magique d'unir des gens d'un bout à l'autre de la planète.

Un immense merci Siobhan pour ta présence tellement inspirante, et un gros merci à l'équipe de Duniya Studio pour l'organisation impeccable. Je n'ai absolument pas vu le temps passer ! ❤️💃

🍂 FALL BELLYDANCE CLASSES ARE OPEN FOR REGISTRATION! 💃

If you’ve been thinking about dancing with Duniya Studio this fall, now is the time to actually SIGN UP! 😉

Our September–December classes are starting soon, and we need your registrations now to make sure all of our classes have enough dancers to run.

Whether you’re brand new to Bellydance, getting back into it, or ready to keep building your skills, we have classes for Levels 1–4 in both Orleans and Kanata.

📍 Orleans starts September 14
📍 Kanata starts September 23

✨ Don’t wait until the first class to register. If enrolment is too low, classes may have to be cancelled, and we’d much rather be dancing with you!
