We are devoted to cultivating the practice of karate Ottawa, supporting the pursuit of fitness, fostering kinship, and developing leadership among people of all ages. At DOUVRIS martial arts Ottawa, we embrace the karate philosophy, which promotes individuals who are “inwardly humble and outwardly gentle.”

Established by brothers, karate champions, and Master Sensei John and Peter Douvris in 1984, DOUVRIS programs, methods, and standards have been designed, tested, and proven over 30 years. We offer consistently high-quality programs in karate, fitness, and leadership throughout Ottawa-Carleton and Aylmer. Our focus is helping our members build confidence, strength, and a positive sense of physical and mental well-being.
