University of Ottawa Equestrian Team OCEA East Zone - IHSA Zone 2 Region 2 Gee-Gees Equestrian is a competitive club at the University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada. Go Gee-Gees!

We currently train at WesleyCloverParks with Mark Struthers, Lauren Hunkin, and Angela Erickson. We compete on the OCEA East Zone and IHSA Zone 2 Region 2 circuits.

As the season comes to an end, we want to congratulate our graduation seniors, Abigail Leduc and Victor Lin. Yesterday our riders competed at Regionals and absolutely killed it! Our hard work during the whole IHSA season paid off and we came in 5th in the whole region.

A big congratulations to Bethany who won the Introductory divison which means that she’ll be heading off to Zones this Saturday. Please join us in wishing her good luck !!

Hier, nos cavalières ont participé aux championnats régionaux et ont vraiment fait un sans-faute ! Nos efforts tout au long de la saison IHSA ont porté leurs fruits et nous avons terminé 5e de toute la région.

Toutes nos félicitations à Bethany qui a remporté la division Introductory, ce qui signifie qu’elle participera aux championnats de Zone ce samedi. Joignez-vous à nous pour lui souhaiter bonne chance !! |

And that’s a wrap on the 2025-2026 OCEA season!! A huge congratulations to our riders who rode beautifully this weekend as well as through the whole year. This season our riders showed everyone what is means to be a Gee-Gees. Our sportsmanship, horsemanship and love for one another shined bright!! A big thank you to everyone who made this weekend happen from the riders, our coach and all members of the OCEA executive teams, we are very grateful for all your hard work 🫶🫶

Et voilà, la saison 2025-2026 de l’OCEA touche à sa fin !! Un immense bravo à nos cavalières qui ont brillamment concouru ce week-end, tout comme tout au long de l’année. Cette saison, nos cavaliers ont montré à tous ce que signifie être un Gee-Gee. Notre esprit sportif, notre maîtrise équestre et notre amour les uns pour les autres ont brillé de mille feux !! Un grand merci à tous ceux qui ont rendu ce week-end possible : les cavaliers, notre entraîneur et tous les membres des équipes dirigeantes de l’OCEA.
