Ottawa Nepean Canadians Baseball Club

Ottawa Nepean Canadians Baseball Club ONC Baseball has 10 teams in the organization. Our Canucks act as our Jr Program and have teams at 13U, 11U and 10U.

In our Canadians program we 18U,16U,15U,14U Major, 14U Minor and 13U who are all members of the best league in Canada the CPBL. Founded in 1970, the Ottawa Nepean Canadians Baseball Club provides players in the Ottawa area with the opportunity to play the highest calibre of competitive baseball. We currently offer top-level 13 -18 year old players a comprehensive program to develop and hone their

skills, enabling them to continue on as scholar-athletes or at the professional level. Graduates of our program have consistently achieved success professionally, on our national team, and at universities and colleges across Canada and US. ONC fields four teams: 18U, 16U, 15U and 14U, with a program designed to provide year round player development, promoting teamwork, quality competition and generous exposure for these top players. Players selected to our program prepare for the following season with a fall program that include a balance of team practices and competitive games. Team workouts continue with an indoor winter program commencing in January. We compete in league play in the AAAA Premier Baseball League of Ontario (PBLO), the province’s original and longest-running elite baseball association for high-performance athletes recognized as one of the best in Canada. The PBLO is officially recognized by Baseball Canada and is an associate member of Baseball Ontario. This associate member status provides our players with the opportunity to tryout/participate in OBA Special events such as the Ontario Cup and Canada Summer Games. Through the summer, the teams play in a number of prestigious and showcase tournaments in Canada and the United States.

🚨 PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

ONC Baseball is excited to announce a partnership with TNS — The Next Step Athletic Recruitment.

This partnership is especially meaningful as TNS Founder Matt Ianni is an ONC alumnus and former Division I student-athlete. Matt and his team have already helped many Canadian athletes find opportunities, identify the right college fit, and take the next step in their careers.

At ONC, our mission goes beyond on-field development—we are committed to providing the guidance, exposure, and support players need to pursue opportunities after ONC.

Through TNS, our athletes gain an additional resource to navigate the recruiting process, increase U.S. exposure, understand academic and eligibility requirements, and manage the international student-athlete pathway.

At the same time, ONC’s College Placement Team remains a key part of every player’s recruitment. Our established relationships with college coaches across the U.S. continue to be a major strength. This partnership enhances, not replaces, that support.

By combining ONC’s network and relationships with TNS’s recruiting expertise and infrastructure, we can offer an even stronger pathway to the next level.

We’re excited to welcome Matt and the TNS team into the ONC family and continue creating more opportunities for our athletes on and off the field.

We’re excited to announce a new partnership between ONC Baseball and OSA Private School for the upcoming school year! ⚾️

ONC will be taking the lead on all baseball programming at OSA, bringing our player development staff, training philosophy, and high-performance approach directly into the school environment.

From September through June, student-athletes will train year-round with a focus on skill development, athleticism, baseball IQ, competition, and preparing each player to reach their full potential.
