Hi ladies 🤍
I’ve been feeling something on my heart lately, and I wanted to share it with you.
For those of you who’ve been here a long time, you know I spent years building a women’s fitness community that meant the world to me. After my separation a few years ago, I stepped away from teaching and truthfully, I think I put up a bit of a wall and closed the world out for a while. I needed that time to heal, to breathe, and to find myself again.
There are many reasons why I am writing this post today but lately, I’ve been really missing this… the connection, the laughter, the energy of women coming together.
Not necessarily for intense workouts — but for something simpler and just as important, especially this time of year.
Because I know winter can feel heavy, so many of us are navigating stress, loneliness, anxiety, or just feeling a little low. I truly believe connection is part of how we heal.
Something that gives us:
🌿 movement
💬 community
☀️ fresh air
🤍 friendship
✨ support
🫶 a reminder that we’re not meant to do life alone
I’ve been thinking about starting some casual get-togethers…not anything formal, just simple, safe, fun ways to connect.
Things like:
❄️ skating on the canal and grabbing a coffee or drink after
🥾 hikes or outdoor walks when we need fresh air and good conversation
🍷 dinner nights or cozy restaurant meetups
🧘♀️ gentle online meditation or light stretching sessions led by myself
🌸 little “reset” evenings during the week or the weekend — just time for ourselves
Really just creating opportunities for women to move, breathe, laugh, and feel connected again.
And I’m so open to ideas too — if there’s something you’d love to do with a group of supportive women, I’d love to hear it.
No pressure. No expectations. Just women showing up as they are.
Would anyone be interested in something like this?
If this speaks to you, comment below or send me a message — I’d love to start bringing that community feeling back in a new way ✨
