Due to limited availability and priority at Emily Carr, we will be waiting for OCDSB to open booking availabilities. At this time, it is not known when the bookings will open, but we will be looking to run the league as soon as possible, giving people two weeks notice. We will not be running tryouts this year, and will distribute people to teams (3-4) depending on numbers. Priority will be given to playing instead of scoring (i.e. take additional players from the other team instead of calling a spare) and format of play will be adapted based on number of players and teams (5 sets guaranteed or staggered play, like OFSL). League fees will be calculated based on the number of nights available (for the league, not the individual player). Players who opt not to play this year will have the option of returning next year, without having to pay to hold their spot.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to answer our player survey. We’ve received word that OCDSB will not be allowing applications for Community Use of gyms until at least December 2020. As a result, we won’t be able to run the first half of the season in September. We’re looking into if we can have a second half of the season.

We'll keep everyone updated when we have more information.

If you have a ball bag at home, please contact us to arrange a drop-off/pick-up.

Hey everyone! With Ottawa now in Phase 3, we're getting ready for this year's season!

1. The exec has put together some *new rules and protocols* to help keep everyone safe. We will send this information and FAQs to current members by email closer to the start of the season.
