Don't just wear orange today, take a moment to send loving energy to the victims and their families. As a mother, I am deeply disturbed about the atrocities that took place in residential schools and the length of time it took the government to acknowledge they had occurred. Declaring a National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a step in the right direction but more awareness, education and support is required. Thank you Jenny at the Misiwe Ni Relations Healing Lodge for your tirelessly work as a Truth & Reconciliation Advocate and Educator. I love you and so grateful for all that you do.
