I should really have used "resistance training" instead of "strength training", because this has very broad applications.
Say it with me: WE NEED TO PROVIDE ENOUGH RESISTANCE TO PROVOKE ADAPTATION.
That's pretty much all training is. Eliciting positive neutral and tissue adaptations through effective force application.
The best bang for your buck is usually the exercise that you can push harder, not the one that makes you feel the most wobbly.
