Fall scenic dual sport charity ride Saturday, Oct. 14. Meet at Sharbot Lake General Store/ Petro Canada parking lot. Ride begins at 11 a.m. Bring a lunch, water, snacks. Twisty gravel and paved roads. Nothing technical. Please sign up through BMA events. Donations of $20 or more. Donations will be going towards humane society and a dog rescue group.

Come join us on our fall scenic charity ride to Burritts Rapids on September 18. Meet at Shell gas station, 2653 March Rd. at 10:30 a.m. Gravel, paved and dirt ride is approximately 160 km. Bring lunch, snacks, water. Ride is about 3 1/2 to 4 hrs. long including lunch. Donations of $20 or more for local humane societies. Prize for rider who brings in the most money. Sign up through bma1.ca dual sport events. Bring donations to event. ( link is not available yet)

There is a horse event this Labor Day weekend on Calabogie’s South side. The event runs around Tatty Hill Rd and the K&P area. Please avoid these areas if possible and keep your eyes peeled for horses. Remember to stop and remove your helmet if you come across a horse and rider.
