🛑 Stop hard sparring if you want to last in this sport! 🛑
Sparring is for learning, refining timing, and building technique—not for trying to win a belt in the gym. 🏆🚫

Here is how to make your rounds safer:
1️⃣ Light & Technical: If you are hitting hard, you are missing the point. Aim for 20-30% power.
2️⃣ Partner Selection: Pick partners close to your size (within 10-50 lbs) to avoid injuries.
3️⃣ Check the Gear: Always wear shin guards and a mouthpiece. Use 16oz gloves.
4️⃣ No Spiking: Avoid hard head kicks or elbows unless specifically agreed upon.

Sparring is a Skill, Not a Scrimmage. 🛡️

At our academy, we view sparring as a high-level tool for development. Our students learn that control is power. Seeing them use their defense, footwork, and strategy while respecting their partner’s safety shows true martial arts spirit.

It’s amazing to see that "lightbulb moment" when a combination practiced for weeks finally lands in a live flow! 💡

As we wind down for the year, I think and reflect on all the great moments and people that have made it what it was.

I wanna thank the club owners and I want to thank the team Kru coach and coach .n.motion

Most importantly, I wanna thank all the wonderful Nakrb students and athletes who have made our culture and team what it is.

Also, last but not least, I would like to thank Kru for his guidance in my coaching 🙏 truly greatful.
