After a whole month away for our summer break, CFTP Oshawa is BACK on the MATS!!! 🎉🔥

📅 Classes resume Tuesday, September 8, 2026!!!

And we’re coming back with a NEW CLASS SCHEDULE!!! 👀

While we’ve been closed for August, we hope our CFTP family has still been keeping those kicks, punches, blocks and stances sharp!!!🥋💪

And student Matthew got the memo!!! 😂🌴 His parents asked Master Jeremy to make a video showing Matthew things to practice - check out this video of Matthew practicing his Taekwondo skills while enjoying the Summer in Mexico!!! 🇲🇽

September Schedule is out!!!

We're excited to be kicking it this month after a long break.

Classes start Tuesday September 8TH.

We have a BIG update to the class schedule. Starting September we now have an After School Program! This program runs till 5:00PM.

This means that regular classes are shifted a bit later. Here is the new schedule:
Lil Lions class 5:30 - 6:00PM
Beginners class 6:15 - 7:00PM
Advanced class 7:15 - 8:00PM
Adult/Family class 8:15 - 9:00PM

At the end of the month on Sept 23rd we have a belt test for those of you that were almost ready last test.

Just a reminder: Green Belts now advance to the 7:15PM Class

☀️🌴 SUMMER HOLIDAY ANNOUNCEMENT!!! 🌴☀️

🥋 CFTP OSHAWA is officially heading into Summer Break! !!🥳

Our Dojang will be CLOSED from July 31 until September 7, 2026 (inclusive) as our students, families, and instructors take some well-deserved time to enjoy everything summer has to offer!!! 🌞🏖️🍦🎡⛺🚲🌊

📅 Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 8, 2026!!!

Every August, we close because YOU asked for it!!! ❤️ Our CFTP families wanted the chance to spend quality time together, go on vacations, enjoy camping trips, cottage weekends, beach days, BBQs, festivals, and make unforgettable summer memories. Family always comes first, and we're so happy you're able to enjoy this special time together!!! 💙👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

⚠️ BUT... don't forget you're still Taekwondo students!!! 😉🥋

Your mission over the summer is to:
✅ Practice your patterns
✅ Stretch often 🤸
✅ Work on your kicks 👣
✅ Keep your body active 🚴🏃
✅ Show respect, courtesy, self-control, honour perseverance, and integrity wherever you go ❤️

Even 10-15 minutes a few times a week will help you come back stronger, sharper, and ready to kick off another amazing season!!! 💪🔥

👀 Although our doors may be closed, we won't be taking the month off!!! Behind the scenes, we're working hard to make CFTP Oshawa even better!!! We have BIG things planned for our students, families, and the Oshawa community, and we honestly can't wait to share everything with you!!! 🎉🥋✨

Yesterday - 13 CFTP Oshawa students participated in their Colour Belt Exam. Today - we celebrated them during our Belt Advancement ceremony. We are so proud of these young martial artists. STAY TUNED - we will announce more in the next coming days.

This week is a great one!!! It's our FINAL Belt Test and Belt Ceremony before everyone's much deserved Summer Break!!! We can't wait to see how amazing our students are going to do - they have put in the work and we can't wait to be amazed!!! 😁🥋👍

Master Jeremy is incredibly proud to be part of the Canadian Family Taekwondo Programs family.

His Taekwondo journey began in 2003 under the guidance of CFTP Founder, Senior Master Alejandro Agustin Pereira . Today, in addition to owning and instructing at CFTP Oshawa, he's honoured to work alongside Master Reneta Pereira, Owner of CFTP Etobicoke, Master Alicia Rodríguez Avila and the amazing team at CFTP Headquarters as:

It's finally here!!! It's CFTP Oshawa 's Family Game Night and Potluck!!! As requested by our students and families - this night is to celebrate OUR FAMILY. We have a lot to celebrate: recent grade 8 graduations, recent grade 12 graduation, end of the school year, some new things under development for our dojang, and some SURPRISE news that we have been keeping under wraps. CFTP IS MADE FOR ME - see you all at 6:00pm 😁
