Due to varying unforeseen factors I will be unable to teach swimming this summer. With the uncertainty surrounding the summer, I was able to secure a full time position that will continue through the fall while I’m in school. Hi! Sorry for the late notice, I was waiting to see what happened in the news. I have decided to postpone registration until June 1st so I have a better idea of what COVID restrictions will look like this summer. Thank you!

Hello! Hope everyone is doing well. Just wanted to post an update and let you know I WILL be teaching this summer! Typically lessons start the first week of July, though this year I am open to some in June as well. As usual, I will start registering for lessons on May First! I will continue to update you with any changes and more details as the date gets closer. Looking forward to another summer teaching!!

I am starting to fill up for the summer! The weeks of July 6th and 13th are completely full. Here is what I have for the rest of the summer;

July 20th; 9:30-11:00 and 2:00-4:00 open

August 3rd; 9:30-10:30 open

August 10th; 9:30-11:30 and 2:15-4:00 open

August 17th; 11:30-12:00 and 2:15-4:00

August 24th; all-day open

With Durham moving into Phase 2 this Friday, I have decided to go ahead to register lessons for JULY and AUGUST. This means alterations, outlined below, to lessons to maintain the safety of your family as well as mine.

Hello! I will be going ahead with booking lessons for summer 2020, beginning with August. I will be working over the next few weeks to develop a full plan to maintain safety within lessons. For now, please contact me to register for lessons! Lessons will not be scheduled at the normal half-hour increments, instead leaving 15-minute breaks in between lessons to allow for limited interaction. Feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns or suggestions!

Hello! I hope you are keeping well! Sorry for the delay in getting this out to you, I am trying my best to wrap my head around the current situation and the best way to proceed. I have decided to proceed with some optimism and allow registration for August. This will mean the weeks of August 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th, from 9:30-12 and 1-4.
Unfortunately, there will need to be a few changes to how lessons run;
- you will no longer be able to change after lessons at the house
- cannot use the washrooms, please prepare for this
- there will be 15-minute breaks in between families to ensure minimal contact, with this, please do not be more than five minutes early
- the side gate will either be propped open, or I will open it for you
- must be 72 hours free of any COVID-19 symptoms
To give more time to feel out the situation, registration will open on June 1st.
All of this is subject to change, as well as lessons themselves. I am hopeful I will be able to teach this summer but understand it completely depends on government recommendations and regulations. I will keep you as updated as possible!

It's that time of year again to start making summer plans! I will be teaching Red Cross (Swim Kids and Preschool) private and semi-private lessons once again this summer.
Lessons will begin the first week of July, and the last session will start on August 17th. A typical session is 5 half-hour lessons, scheduled Monday to Friday. Start times for lessons will be 9:30-11:30, and 1:00-3:30.

**Registration will open May 1st**
